The Port of Halle – the hub of intermodal transport and the cargo transport centre
Hafen Halle GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Stadtwerke Halle GmbH, operates the public inland Port of Halle at Halle (Saale) whose container terminal Halle Saale (CTHS) provides a comprehensive range of key logistics services.
The core services provided by CTHS within the logistics chain are the handling of sea containers for the import and export of goods throughout the world. These services provide the basis for additional logistics services at the Port of Halle.
These include the core services provided by our port railway and terminal services. Hafen Halle GmbH offers a wide range of services across the entire logistics chain ranging from the haulage of the intermodal trains to the pre-and on-carriage of containers using our own trucks.
